A large-scale public platform for family welfare, social development and community services in the UAE, built to the government’s own design system and run from a headless Umbraco CMS.
Government platforms in the UAE are expected to look and behave alike. The job was not to invent a new interface but to build faithfully inside an established one: the shared component library, its UI patterns and its accessibility standards.
Content is managed in Umbraco and delivered headless to the front end, so every section of every page is driven by the CMS rather than hard-coded. The build itself ran with AI in the loop: MCP integrations, AI agents and reusable agent skills that produce and check components against the existing architecture.
- Op 01
Developed and customised website components on the government design library and its component standards.
- Op 02
Built content-driven page sections rendered from headless Umbraco.
- Op 03
Translated design-system specifications into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces in TypeScript and structured SCSS.
- Op 04
Held every page to the platform’s UI patterns and accessibility standards.
- Op 05
Worked inside an existing front-end ecosystem, extending shared components instead of rebuilding them.
- Op 06
Set up an AI-assisted workflow with MCP integrations, AI agents and reusable agent skills for faster, consistent component development.
- 75% less development time with MCP and AI agents in the workflow.
- Pages that follow the government design system and its accessibility standards throughout.
- A CMS-driven front end that the content team extends without new code.
- 75%less development timewith MCP, AI agents and agent skills
